Learn how to perform a professional full-body massage using effective techniques to promote relaxation, ease muscular tension and support general wellbeing.
Aromatherapy
Develop your understanding of essential oils and learn how to select, blend and use them safely within personalised aromatherapy treatments.
Reflexology
Learn how to provide structured reflexology treatments using pressure techniques on the feet to encourage relaxation and support your client’s overall wellbeing.
What You Will Study

Your qualification combines guided home study, practical classroom tuition, case studies, client practice and final assessments.
Home Study
You will complete six theory modules covering:
Principles and Practice of Complementary Therapies
Business Practice for Complementary Therapies
Body Massage
Aromatherapy
Reflexology
Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
Practical Training
You will attend twelve practical training days at Renew Therapies, where you will develop and practise your techniques in a supportive learning environment.
Client Practice and Case Studies
To develop your experience and treatment confidence, you will complete documented client treatments and case studies in each therapy:
At least 30 body massage treatments, including five clients treated six times
At least 60 aromatherapy treatments, including six clients treated six times
At least 100 reflexology treatments, including three clients treated six times
Practical final assessments take place after all required coursework, client practice and case studies have been completed.
Entry Requirements
To enrol, you must:
Be aged 18 or over
Have a good standard of written and spoken English
Be able to complete the required theory, practical work and home study
No previous therapy qualification is required, making this an excellent professional pathway for complete beginners.
Accreditation and Professional Recognition
The curriculum aligns with the National Occupational Standards and is recognised for insurance purposes by a range of professional membership and insurance providers.
This is a Level 3 accredited practitioner diploma delivered in partnership with Holistic Zone Training Academy. It is not an awarding-body qualification issued or formally assessed by organisations such as VTCT, ITEC or City & Guilds.
Students are responsible for confirming that the qualification meets the requirements of their preferred insurer before enrolling. Student insurance is recommended while completing the course.
