Theory and benefits: Principles of the lymphatic system, indications and contraindications, and how MLD supports reduction of puffiness, fluid retention, and promotes skin health and relaxation.
Techniques and protocol: Step-by-step MLD facial routine, strokes and direction of flow, gentle pressure, rhythm and sequencing appropriate for facial lymph drainage.
Client assessment and treatment planning: How to perform a brief consultation, identify client needs, adapt the protocol for common concerns and record client information.
Aftercare and homecare advice: Guidance to give clients for maintaining results, including self-care techniques, contraindications to watch for and recommended treatment frequency.
Health & safety: Contraindications, hygiene, client comfort, and professional boundaries specific to MLD facial work.
